Mr R.M. Sukhatankar attends strategic, ethics, safety and environments assurance meetings of the group.He has been on the board committees of GSB Seva Mandal, Mumbai, AAMI, MCCI in various capacities. Mr Sukhatankar was born in Sonavade, a small village located near the town of Sawantwadi in Kudal. This region comes under the historic district of Sindhudurg.

Mr R.M. Sukhatankar completed his education from the prestigious Khusro Wadia College in 1968 from Poona University. He then did his Engineering from Karnataka University while working with Voltas through distance learning. Mr. Sukhatankar worked as an Apprentice at Voltas. After successfully graduating he joined Larsen & Toubro in 1969 and worked in the Quality Department handling a team of 10 people and continued there till he started his own business in 1980. He has been the Founder & CMD of Amod Group of Industries since its inception in 1980.Through his leadership the group has seen a huge expansion in almost 4 different regions and a steady growth in business catering to the highest standards in Thermoset Molding. He has been the senior advisor to Amod Group of Industries since stepping down from active duties in 1998 and working in the capacity of CMD cum Advisor on the AGI board.

Mr. Sukhatankar is an expert at Thermoset Molding and understands all the facets that goes into production processes and Quality standards. He has for over 4 decades helped the group’s clients achieve exceptional quality for their products through the solutions that have been implemented under his guidance. Mr. Sukhatankar has been awarded numerous awards from renowned institutions and clients in areas of Quality Production, Customer Satisfaction, Forums, etc. Mr. Sukhatankar is an enthusiast of Pandit Jasraj’s music and follows Tennis avidly. He has been a state level player in ring tennis while he was at college.
